Who is responsible

Enquiries and applications

We use the contact details and information you choose to send to respond to questions, prepare requested proposals, discuss partnerships or assess your job application. Processing enquiries and requested proposals is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract; general business correspondence is handled for our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Recruitment information is used to assess your application and take steps towards a possible employment relationship. Submitting a form does not subscribe you to marketing, make a booking or guarantee employment.

Information and recipients

Required fields are marked on the form. We process your name, email, message and the relevant optional details you provide, such as destination, dates, group size, phone number, organisation, experience and languages. Applications can include an HTTPS link to a CV; this website does not accept CV file uploads. Applications are sent to HR; other messages are sent to our enquiry team. OVHcloud provides email delivery and mailbox services, and Render hosts the website. Access is limited to the people who need the information to handle your request. If you send a CV link, its hosting provider and access settings are your choice; our team uses the link to assess your application.

Storage and retention

Form messages are delivered to our email service; the website does not create a separate applicant or enquiry database. Short-lived checks against duplicate submissions and excessive use do not retain message text and expire within one hour. Correspondence is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request, application and follow-up, and where required to meet applicable legal obligations or resolve a dispute. Recruitment information is used for the recruitment process you contact us about; contact HR to withdraw your application or ask about deletion. Provider backup copies follow the provider's retention and deletion arrangements. We do not use form messages for advertising or sell them.

Your rights and choices

Where applicable, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact info@thewalkingparrot.com, or HR for application details. Include only enough information to locate your message; do not send identity documents unless a necessary identity check is agreed with you. You may complain to the data protection authority where you live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred, including the Portuguese CNPD or Polish UODO. Optional information can be omitted. If required details are not provided, we may be unable to respond or assess your request.

Cookies and bookings

The form uses a short-lived, secure, essential session cookie to protect submission. Analytics is optional and only loads after you accept Analytics cookies; withdrawing that choice stops future loading. Booking links open Peek, whose own privacy notice and booking terms apply. Do not put payment card details, identity numbers, health information or other sensitive information in a form message.
