Lo único que les quedó a los ciudadanos de Oporto fueron callos con los que luego elaboraron lo que hoy se conoce como uno de los platos más populares de la gastronomía portuguesa y símbolos de Oporto. Es por ello que llevan su apodo con orgullo.
